Privacy Policy
This policy explains what GoNowFlorida collects when you use the site, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how to ask for a copy or deletion.

Who runs this site
GoNowFlorida is operated by IT Focus, LLC. You can reach us at solomon@itfocus.net or through the contact page.
What we collect
Visit logs, including IP address. Our web server records each request with the visitor's IP address, the page requested and the time. We keep the raw IP address for 90 days, then discard it. We use these logs to keep the service running and to detect abuse.
Cookieless analytics. We run Umami analytics, which does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across other websites. It records page views and referrers in aggregate.
Account details. If you register, we store the email address and the name you give us, plus a salted hash of your password. We never store your password itself.
We do not collect payment card details. Payments, when they are introduced, are handled by the payment processor, which shares only a customer identifier with us.
Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense may be enabled on this site in the future. When it is, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If advertising is switched on, you will be able to opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings. Turning ads off in your browser does not affect your ability to use the directory.
Email we send
We send transactional email only: account verification and password resets. We do not run a newsletter and we do not send marketing email. If we ever send a bulk message, it will carry an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and you will be able to unsubscribe from every message.
Your choices
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information — we do not sell personal information. If you want to confirm that or opt out of any future sharing, use that link.
You can ask us for a copy of the account data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account and its data, at solomon@itfocus.net. We will confirm within 30 days.
Data credits
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Database License. Rest area and service plaza data comes from the Florida Department of Transportation.
